Cause if it was I think he would have taught him the sport bomb

Goku didnt teach him the spirit bomb probably cuz he didnt spent as much time with Gohan as he wanted but I dont really know probably its just to give Goku a unique move.

The kamehameha is like a heritage move passed down from Master Roshi to Goku and then Gohan and afterwards got to Goten. lol

i think the answer is yes...cause you cant ride the nimbus is your heart is even slightly tainted.

gohan bounced the spirit bomb away because his heart was pure (saiyan saga, krillen fires goku's spirit bomb to vegeta, misses..)

I believe not as pure because Gohan has many bad/shocking memories.And Goku hit his head and his memories were completely vanished,and then the pureness took over him.Gohan didnt have the DNA of Goku when he hit his head,but the DNA of the regular SAIYAN Goku.

You will be asking then why isn't Gohan an evil SAIYAN fighter?
The answer is pretty clear,cuz he was raised pure hearted with pure hearted friends and family.
So there's a slight difference to they're characteristics.

if Gohan wasn't pure he wouldn't be able to ride the nimbus and would have been injured by the spirit bomb when he bounced it back to Vegeta in the Saiyan saga........you say he has bad memories yet so does Goku, but his bad memories are per say from his Saiyan ancestry, rather when Gohan had his neck broken by Recoome...or Gohan being kidnapped by his brother.....or Krillin being killed by frieza.....or Vegeta going Majin cause of him........... or when Buu killed Vegeta, Chi Chi, Videl, Bulma, Krillin, and every body else on Kami's look out.... or when kid Buu blew up the earth killing Gohan, Goten. and Piccolo.... or when Buu absorbed Gohan and Goten and piccolo......or the androids going after him along with cell........ I'd say all those memories are pretty bad. so Gohan also has some bad memories yes......but so does Goku and every one else in dbz....yet they are all pure...excluding piccolo(evil side of Kami) and Vegeta (suppresses his evil side) and fat Buu aka good Buu.

But I'm a huge gohan fan but if his heart was pure as goku he would have not such an anger problem lol jkjk

the anger thing is a result of being born half human and half saiyan.....goten didnt end up that way cause chi chi had lost alot of her strength....when gohan was born she was farily powerful.......and trunks and bulla..well bulma only had smarts.....

Anyway I guess Akira Toriyama made Gohan to be the same with Goku!
As for Goten, well, I read that Akira wanted him to replace the Kid Goku in the series.

Pretty good reasonings you got there guys, though you should note that:
* Memory's do not affect your DNA
* your condition isn't in your DNA (potential for being strong is)
* His 'anger problems' lol, are probably a result of Chi-chi being his mom, so i don't know if it really makes him
less pure harted xD

If i had to choose i'd say Gohan is even more pure-harted then Goku, think about it:
Goku loves to fight, in a good way, but he still loves to fight, Gohan detests fighting.
Goku comes forth out of Bardock and probably an also fighting loving saiyan woman.
But then again Gohan comes forth out of a fighting loving guy and a woman with rage attacks...

So, is pure-hartedness even decided by genes?
Or is it just the way you behave towards your surroundings?
Or a combination?

heres how to settle this once and for all........the nimbu;, only ppl who are PURE OF HEART can ride the nimbus......goku can ride it gohan can ride it goten can ride it....idk if chi chi can ride it any more..she used to be able to.
