Basicaly, you choose 2-10 characters from any media and you would look up their powers, wepons ect. to see who would win. Heres the first Starting two.
Goku (DBZ) v.s Jackie Estecado (The Darkness)

one quick question are we going with the power level of goku in that picture during the frieza fight?

no, its Goku at the end of the majin buu saga. Just couldnt find a good pic of goku ssj but anyway, who would win? Tell me your vote and ill give reasons for/ against it until we come to an agreement

well its kinda hard to say since Jackie never really showed how strong he could get but neither did Goku but if my understanding is correct if Goku made a spirit bomb the light from it would destroy every thing that Jackie created and the bomb it self wold kill Jackie since hes using evil as his power. so my vote would have to go with Goku.

Intresting, however, thats a way Goku can win. A way Jackie could win would be that he would summon light-killer imps to destroy lights, block out light ect. To give his power more affect. Then he would simply summon some imps to distract Goku while he charged up a black hole to kill Goku. Infact, They are both kinda equal. Just depends what time of day it is XP

The biggest problem with Jackie is he is weak against light a ssj aura just so happens to admit light all their ki based attacks admit light pretty much every thing they do besides punching admits light.

As for the imps distracting Goku as you said it was the Goku by the end of the majin buu saga. If the imps have a punch hard enough to blow away mountains it might get threw Goku's ki defense. But even if they could punch that hard if they can't move at sub light speeds they would never even touch him. The imps most likely would never be able to block out the light Goku's aura was admitting thus making Jackie's powers weaker. As for the black whole goku could easily just instant transmit him self behind Jackie and blow him away with a full powered energy blast of any sort.

The key problem is Goku admits light with all his energy waves and his ssj aura. He can blow wholes in planets and even blow them up with minimal effort. He could just as easily grab a hold of his foe and tel-port them into the sun or near it. He could also blow the planet up that his foes is on and tel-port to a safe place. I would assume it would end up much like it did in the Movie Cooler's revenge Jackie being pushed into the sun well stuck to a Kama hama ha(Which admits a very large amount of light rendering Jackie useless pretty much)

Although battles are unpredictable in many ways I think Goku is just to fast to be caught. In his battle of Frieza they even said he was moving at almost light speed to avoid the explosion of frieza detonation bomb he put around goku. That plus his ability to admit light like when he was fighting yarkon in the dark i just think Jackie has to many disadvantages to have a fair fight. The Majin's in the dbz world rely or evil energy as well but don't have a weakness to light and Kid buu whipped out entire planets / Galaxies(before he was sealed) with no problem. Jackie doesn't seem to have the power to destroy galaxies or Teleportation to other planets hence why the darkness dies in the end since its stuck on a space shuttle after earth was burned. The only weakness they both seem to have is they can't breath in space.

You do prove a good point, but remember, Jackie isnt useless in light, The Darkness still works momentarily in light, deepending on how strong the user is.

Yeah, Goku could probobly kill the imps with one blow and is quite fast. However, their are a viarity of imps that Jackie can summon, one of them being a large, muscle bound creature, its only weakness is its speed. Although Instant Transmission would let Goku get behind Jackie, A blast would not kill him. His Darkness Creates an armor that can defend against alot of things. And like I said, His powers work for a while in Light.

I did find a contradiction in the fact that goku would have enough power to destroy planets. However, When would goku do such a thing? Jackie could simpley just Dodge at the last second if a blast was fiered off from the sky. The planet would soon start to explode. The two would make a good fight though XP. If it came to the fact that Goku did destroy the planet, Space is a vast amont of Darkness, Letting Jackie Breath it space, due to his Darkness Armor.

Although, think of a cameo of the two as allies XP

I think that if it came to just a fist fight, it would be pretty equal. If it involved Ki, Goku, If it Involved cunning, stratagy and skill, I think Jackey. What about the outher guys on the forum though? What do you think?

I wonder why then did the Darkness get stuck on a space ship and tried to lure Aliens to earth in the story if it could make it self able to breath in space? And as for space being dark it isn't very dark at all were we are the sun and billions of stars constantly are lighting up space around earth. I thought we were trying to decided who was the strongest and who would win not if they would be a tie.

Oh XP Well, yeah, Goku does have the advantage here due to his ssj aura, but i let out one little detail. Darkness Guns. These things could take down Goku in a split second!

goku can catch bullits in less than a second remember.. or are 'darkness' guns different?

They dont shoot Bullets XP One shoots out electricity and anouther one shoots out darkness bombs.

ahhh well i think ssj3 is enough to take him down

SSJ 3 took goku alot of time to master, and he can only use it for a little while. Jackie would simpaly use his darkness powers to get him to waste his energy, then he would go up to him, get out a darkness gun, fire through his stomache, rip out his heart and eat it

Unfortunatly, A spirit bomb take time. Jackie would devouwer Goku while he had to gather the energy to kill him

Goku can teleport himself into another planet and use the time to gather energy and then come back to the fighting area using instant transmission andanniliate Jackie xD

well I have no idea who this jackie guy is but its obvious from what murdo has said about him Goku would win hands down......


Reason 1: Hes faster than the speed of light.
Reason 2: Goku mastered ssj3 and cause of that he can stay ssj3 for long periods of time like he did with the fight with kid buu.
Reason 3: Goku has the dragon fist. One shot from that and your dead.(unless your kid buu)
Reason 4: His ki aura is bright even if he isnt in ssj

edit: HOLD ON A TIC! If we were using the Jackie from the later comics (Immune to light, shoot out fire ect.) Jackie would be more of a match for Goku! And the only way he can truly die, Is by having a child, The Darkness would leave him, killing him in the process and imbed itself in the child, awakening on its 21st birthday!

well idk who would win cause I have no idea what or who this jackie guy is.................so yeah.
